What is JAWS?
JAWS (Job Access With Speech) is a paid screen reader for Windows, designed to support users who are blind or visually impaired. It converts on-screen text into Braille or speech, allowing users to navigate websites, applications, and documents without needing to see the screen.
JAWS offers advanced features such as scripting for custom application behaviour, support for refreshable Braille displays, and compatibility with most Windows applications including Microsoft Office, Edge, Teams and the Chrome browser.
