Overview
All our forms begin with a start page to let the customer know what they need to complete it and to give them an overview of
- What the transaction is
- How many pages or sections the form has
- What information do they need to provide to complete the transaction
Each start page should have
- The name of the service
- A short introduction and service information
- The number of pages or sections
- An estimate of how long it will take to complete the form
- A start button or ‘call to action’
- Eligibility criteria
Things to remember
When you count the number of pages in a form, do not include the success or failure pages. If forms have differing numbers of pages depending on the answers given, change the message to ‘up to xx pages’.
