Overview

When collecting customer details in iCM you must use the ‘PERSONAL DETAILS snippet’ in the customer snippets library. This is so that we are consistent about what we ask for and the order we use.

You should follow this pattern whenever you need to ask for a user’s name and personal details as part of the service. Only ask for people’s details if you need that information to deliver a service.

important

A title should only be used if the back office system requires it, otherwise, this component should be disabled.

How it works

For example: 31 03 1980
You can use a landline or mobile number
We’ll only use your email to send you a receipt

Things to remember

Date pickers are not accessible and hard for people with visual impairments to use. When you need a customer to enter a date make sure you use 3 numeric inputs for day, month and year.
